WHOSAY Is Proud to Support SixDegrees.org’s #homecomingchallenge

This holiday season, WHOSAY is proud to partner with Kevin Bacon’s SixDregrees.org charity to benefit SOS Children’s Villages through the #homecomingchallenge.

Jesse Metcalfe, Morgan Harper, and Beverley Mitchell are some of the creators whop have accepted the #homecomingchallenge

Barbara Alcena, a Haiti-born, Boston-based social worker who landed in an SOS Village when she had no place left to go, set up the challenge with Bacon’s charity by posting a video of what coming home means to her. “I believe that every child deserves to know what coming home feels like,” she says in the unfiltered video.

Creators Bacon, J.P. Byrne, Beverley Mitchell, Jesse Metcalfe, and more followed suit, accepting the challenge and then challenging their friends to do the same. “I’m taking the #homecomingchallenge,” Bacon said in his video while arriving home and taking his shoes off. “And I’m donating to SOS Children’s Villages because every kid should know what coming home  feels like.”

“I challenge you to show and share your #homecomingchallenge, and to help raise money for those families and kids who don’t have a home to go home to,” says Mitchell in her video. “Because we are the lucky ones.”

Meanwhile, both Byrne and Metcalfe applied humor to their challenge videos. “Everybody; daddy’s home,” Byrne enthusiastically yells as he arrives at his seemingly empty house. “Everyone should have the chance to come home to the one they love,” Metcalfe says in his video, as he grabbed his beloved guitar.

But you don’t have to be a celebrity to participate in the #homecomingchallenge. There are two ways you can support this cause; by making your own unfiltered video of what coming home means to you, and use the SixDegrees.org platform to challenge your friends.
